Anna Hatzidaki studied in Corfu (B.A. in Translation Studies and M.A. in Translation Theory & Didactics) and Edinburgh (MSc and Ph.D in Psycholinguistics). She continued with postdoctoral studies in Psycholinguistics at Universities in Aberdeen, Ghent, and Barcelona. Her research interests are in the area of Psycholinguistics, particularly Bilingualism and Translation. Her current research lines, which she approaches using experimental methods and techniques, behavioural and electrophysiological, involve language interaction at the syntactic level, including code-switching, emotional language processing, cognitive processes in translation, and linguistic relativity. Her publications include book chapters and articles in international peer-reviewed journals, such as Brain and Language; Bilingualism: Language and Cognition; Language, Cognition and Neuroscience; Frontiers in Psychology: Language Sciences; Cognition; Cognitive Psychology; Journal of Pragmatics; Applied Psycholinguistics; Dyslexia; Translation, Cognition & Behavior and Meta.
